The benchmark of pizza, that against which we measure all others, is Green Mill Pizza St. Paul. Now the original Green Mill restaurant is a brewpub called Mill Street Brewing, but it continues to serve the same first class pizza. This is my attempt to replicate it.
Ingredients Pizza dough (link not active yet) 12 oz sliced mozzarella cheese 1 can Contadina chunky style pizza sauce 8 oz Italian sausage Procedure Place dough in baking dish, I prefer a stone dish. Let raise 30 minutes. Layer sliced mozzarella, then sauce, then sausage. Bake 35-45 minutes.
