This recipe keeps getting lost in my family, but someone always seems to find a copy of it to pass on. As a kid, I remember Mom making this chocolate sauce, and we would enjoy it over ice cream or cake what seems like most every night. No I'm not overweight.
Ingredients 4 squares baking chocolate 2/3 cup milk 1 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup corn syrup 1/4 tsp salt 2 Tbl butter Procedure Melt chocolate squares in milk over low heat. Stir in sugar, corn syrup, salt. Stir in butter. Add a little water if too thick. Keeps well at room temperature. Can be reheated.
